FCC Relaxing Regulations on In-Flight Wi-Fi
1/2/2013 4:45:56 PM - It seems that one of the things that airlines are banking on setting them apart from their competition is the little amenities they can offer. As prices for things such as checking bags go up, these companies realize they have to come up with another way to get people to fly on their planes. American Airlines is just one of several companies that have decided that in-flight Wi-Fi is the best way to win over new customers. They are hardly the only company that is looking at Wi-Fi as a way to lure in customers and that is one of the reasons why in-flight Wi-Fi is evolving so quickly. That evolution has led to the FCC relaxing several of the rules that govern the use of the technology on American flights.
