Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $2.5 Million Contract

This contract will require Comtech -- a company engaged in designing, developing and producing of advanced communication solution products and systems -- to supplement an earlier base installation and delivery of IFF higher power amplifiers delivered to the customer. The amplifiers to be supplied are meant for use as essential components in an intricate type of security system utilized in checking an aircraft for landing clearance and to ascertain aircraft “friend or foe” status.
“This order reaffirms Comtech’s product performance, quality and reliability, as well as the continuation of our relationship with this premier supplier of IFF systems to both U.S. and international customers,” Fred Kornberg (News - Alert), president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said.
Comtech Telecommunication Corp is engaged in designing and developing of novel products and offering consultancy services for advanced type of telecom solutions. The company plays a vital role in developing products meant for locations where no terrestrial telecom infrastructure is available or where implementing an infrastructure is unviable and costly.
Currently the company offers its services in telecom transmission, mobile data communications and RF microwave amplifiers. The developed products of the company are used by private and public sector telecom companies all over the world.
Comtech PST Corp the subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corp is currently engaged in offering broadband and high performance RF microwave amplifiers used in defence, medical and satellite communication networks.
