The TracVision HD7 utilizes KVH's patent-pending TriAD antenna technology that permits the antenna to accept signals from all three primary Ka-band and Ku-band DIRECTV satellites concurrently, track those satellites even when the boat cruises at high speeds and faces rough seas, and offer an unmatchable DIRECTV HD experience as if sitting at home. Moreover, the TracVision HD7 comprises of an Internet Protocol-enabled antenna control unit with a built-in Ethernet connection, WiFi (News - Alert) interface, and USB port for effortless setup and a free iPhone app. These provisions enable owners to check signal strength and switch satellites right from their iPhones.
For the boaters who travel often among the Americas, KVH is offering the Ka/Ku-band Tri-Americas LNB for the TracVision HD7. With the help of this exclusive accessory, the TracVision HD7 owners are able to switch between DIRECTV and DIRECTV Latin America while traveling among ports in North America, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. In order to avail this, there is no need to change any antenna hardware.
