Indonesia launches domestic-developed rocket into space

The Indonesia Aeronautics and Space Agency (ASA) said the country successfully launched a home-grown rocket into space early on July 2 as part of its plans to send a satellite into orbit in 2014.
The RX-420 rocket was launched from a pad on Java island.
Last year, Indonesia successfully tested another type of rocket. According to ASA spokesperson Elly Kuntjahyowati, the rocket will be combined with the RX-420 to carry a satellite into orbit in 2014.-
