BRIEF: Expanded TV information available online

Nov 02, 2009 (The Sun - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- In addition to our weekly TV listings magazine in the Sunday edition of the Yuma Sun, readers can now check out expanded listings and television information online.

There are expanded TV listings for the local Time Warner cable service, including channels which are not listed in our weekly newspaper guide. In addition, readers can choose to view listings for the Dish and DirecTV satellite services.

In the listings, you can click on a program to get more detailed program information. You can also search for the program you are seeking.

But listings are only part of the television information available at our TV Tabloid online site. There is news about TV, best program bets for each day, sports highlights, movie highlights, a question-and-answer column and a summary of soap operas.

If you are looking for other entertainment, three types of puzzles are available: crosswords, sudokus and word searches. Summaries of the latest video releases are also available.

To view our new TV Web pages, go to TV Listings in the Entertainment section.
