Former Hitachi Vice President of Sales Operations Jason Hickey and Financial Executive Andrew Miceli Join Easter Seals Bay Area's Board of Directors
OAKLAND, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Easter Seals Bay Area (http://bayarea.easterseals.com) today announced that Jason Hickey and Andrew Miceli have been elected to the organization's board of directors. Hickey was most recently the vice president of supply demand optimization for Hitachi (News - Alert) Global Storage Technologies, and Miceli is currently the president and CEO of Miceli Financial Partners1, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual).
"Jason and Andrew bring decades of strategic business, operational and financial experience to Easter Seals Bay Area, and we are excited to welcome them to the board," said Matthew Riley, chairman of the board for Easter Seals Bay Area and vice president and general manager of Basic American Foods. Hickey served as vice president of supply demand optimization and vice president of worldwide sales operations for Hitachi from 2003-2008. Prior to Hitachi, Hickey spent more than 20 years at IBM (News - Alert), where he held a number of management positions, including Chief Financial Officer of Sales and Distribution for the West Coast region. After a successful career, Hickey retired in December 2008 and currently resides in Danville, CA (News - Alert) with his wife, Nancy.
Miceli began his career in the financial services industry in 1982 and joined MassMutual in 1992. In 1996, Miceli took over MassMutual's San Jose agency and created Miceli Financial Partners, which now has offices in San Jose, Napa and Fresno along with satellite offices throughout the Bay Area. Miceli is a San Francisco native and resides in Los Gatos with his wife, Anna, and their two children.
