Globecomm to Participate in Panel Discussions at SATELLITE 2010 Conference

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. --(Business Wire)-- Globecomm Systems (News - Alert) Inc. The conference is being held March 16-18, 2010 at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

Tom Parish, Globecomm Vice President of Broadcast, will participate in a panel on �MPEG-4 versus MPEG-2: Choosing the Standard That's Right for You' on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 3:00 PM EST to 4:15 PM EST. He will discuss whether a more capable MPEG standard can become cost-effective and whether it really makes that much difference to the end user.

Paul Scardino, Vice President of Sales and Marketing will participate in a panel on �The Greening of Teleport: How To Save Money and Impress Your Kids' on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 3:00 PM EST to 4:15 PM EST. He will be part of a discussion that focuses on how operators of teleports can reduce their costs and improve sustainability by boosting the energy efficiency of their operations and facilities.

Prior to the SATELLITE 2010 Conference, Paul Scardino will also be speaking on a panel at the WTA Member Forum on The Green Teleport: Best Practices in Energy Efficiency and Carbon Reduction.
