Partnership Aims to Improve Operational Effectiveness of U.S. Government Satellite Communication Deployments

ARLINGTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- By Light Professional IT Services (By Light) has teamed with the Global VSAT Forum (GVF (News - Alert)) to provide online and hands-on VSAT installer training courses to help combat the costly increase of satellite interference. The online GVF Certified VSAT Installer Training Courses are administered and provided exclusively by SatProf, a company dedicated to E-learning for Satellite Professionals.

By Light will provide Hands-On Skills Test (HOST) at the By Light Integration Center (BIC) located in Fayetteville, NC. Arrangements can also be made to provide the HOST to a group of students at other locations when required. Students who complete GVF Advanced VSAT Installer Certification and any Specialty Certification may be posted in the GVF's Global VSAT Installers' Database.

The GVF training courses have been reviewed and certified by the Satellite Users Interference Reduction Group (SUIRG), a global industry organization dedicated to stopping satellite radio frequency interference (RFI (News - Alert)) before it begins.

Significant time, effort and resources are dedicated each year to the tracking, identification and elimination of satellite interference and By Light is excited about the opportunity to work with GVF to help mitigate future satellite interference in both the government and commercial industries.
