SkyVision Acquires Afinis - African VSAT operator - from Monaco Telecom

HERTFORDSHIRE, Aug 06, 2012 /African Press Organization via COMTEX/ -- SkyVision Global Networks Ltd. (http://www.skyvision.net), the leading global provider of IP connectivity over satellite and fibre optic networks throughout Africa - today announced that it has acquired Afinis Communication SA ("Afinis") from Monaco Telecom SAM ("Monaco Telecom"), a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc ("CWC").

Afinis holds local offices and licensing in Burkina Faso, Guinea and Senegal. Each of these entities will now be owned by SkyVision and will carry the SkyVision brand.
