Hills secures satellite contract

Nov 07, 2012 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Hills has won a multi-million-dollar Federal Government contract to design, supply and install the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade's worldwide satellite network for 51 Australian embassies and global offices. The tender win by subsidiary STEP Electronics is a boost for new Hills CEO Ted Pretty. He expects more than 75% of Hills' revenues to be derived from non-steel operations by 2015.
