Market Maker Surveillance Report. AMAT, BAC, GE, CBIS, MJNA, OGXPY, Highest Net Sell Volume and Negative Price Friction For Monday, November 12th 2012

Nov 13, 2012 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 4034 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2337 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3094 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. APPLIED MATERIALS, INC. (NASDAQ:AMAT), BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), General Electric Co (NYSE:GE), Cannabis Science Inc (OTC:CBIS), Medical Marijuana Inc (OTC:MJNA), Ogx Petroleo e Gas Participacoes SA (OTC:OGXPY). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction AMAT $-0.030 -0.28% 3,126,780 39.47% 4,783,912 60.39% -1,657,132 -552,377 BAC $-0.030 -0.32% 23,576,621 34.82% 25,282,531 37.34% -1,705,910 -568,637 GE $-0.110 -0.52% 5,990,996 27.88% 7,698,059 35.83% -1,707,063 -155,188 CBIS $-0.027 -29.61% 14,374,871 42.28% 19,627,350 57.72% -5,252,479 -1,982,068 MJNA $-0.019 -16.81% 4,583,921 34.29% 8,785,502 65.71% -4,201,581 -2,211,358 OGXPY $-0.020 -0.82% 954,200 27.20% 2,822,872 80.46% -1,868,672 -934,336 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows AMAT down $-0.03000 with a Friction Factor of -552,377 and a Net Volume of -1,657,132. That means that it takes 552,377 more shares of selling than buying to drop AMAT by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
