4G LTE Community Recognizes the Very Best at LTE North America
DALLAS --(Business Wire)--
The 4G LTE (News - Alert) community last night recognized the very best in their
industry at the Telecoms.com
LTE North America Awards gala and dinner at the Fairmont Dallas
Hotel. The awards, which took place on the opening day of LTE
North America attracting a staggering 800 visitors and 40% carrier
attendance, are now in their third year and are designed to celebrate
the triumphs and innovations of North America's LTE marketplace.
With shortlisted companies from the region's key carriers in the 4G LTE
ecosystem, the awards attracted an unprecedented number of entries and
this year witnessed the launch of two brand new categories: 'Best
Backhauling Solution', which was won by Alcatel-Lucent, and 'Most
Innovative LTE Application/Service', which was won by Gemalto (News - Alert). These
categories have been introduced to reflect the influx of LTE networks
deployed in North America and its rapidly evolving LTE marketplace.
