Boxwood Technology and Blue Sky Broadcast Enter Strategic Partnership

HERNDON, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Boxwood Technology, a leading provider of online career centers and career-related services to associations, and Blue Sky Broadcast, a leader in delivering live and on-demand rich media learning solutions, have announced a strategic partnership for the delivery of Career Learning Centers to the association market. The Career Learning Center is an online portal for the delivery of career management training resources that will be available to Boxwood customers.

"We are very excited to launch our partnership with Blue Sky Broadcast as we really see a tight and logical linkage between career center services and learning solutions. These services work together to help members achieve their professional development goals, one of the most important reasons members join associations," said John Bell, CEO of Boxwood.

An enhanced version of the Career Learning Center will give associations the ability to create and deliver their own member specific content to further empower job seekers. Associations will be able to run live, online events as well as provide testing and certification with this version.

The partnership also includes the planned integration of the Boxwood and Blue Sky Broadcast technology platforms. Visitors to career centers will be presented with educational programs while visitors to the learning centers will be presented wit job openings. Exposure to a wider set of association products and services can help increase member engagement, enhance relevance and drive more revenue.

"This partnership will allow Blue Sky Broadcast and Boxwood to work together seamlessly to help associations rapidly create and deliver content to their members," said Philip G. Forte, President of Blue Sky Broadcast. "This is truly a fully integrated solution that will provide increased value to many associations and job seekers."
