AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Youth soccer signups currently underway

ATHENS, Feb 01, 2013 (Athens Daily Review - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Youth soccer signups are currently underway and last through Feb. 17 at Hibbett Sports.

Registration is set for Saturday's from 10-4 p.m. and Sunday's from Noon to 4 p.m.

The cost is $65 for new players and $55 for returning players.

2013 ATBA signups begin this weekend The 2013 season for the Athens Teen Baseball Association will begin signups this Saturday.

The signups are being held at Coleman Park from 9 a.m. to Noon.

Dads who would like to coach can get information during signups.

The cost is $85 for the first player, $75 for a second player in the same family and $50 each for three or more kids in the same family.

Other signup days are Feb. 9, 16 and 23 at Coleman Park.

Softball signups held at Kerry Harris Softball sign ups for Henderson County Girls Softball Association have begun.

You can sign up at Kerry Harris Satellite located on 103 Lacosta Street in Athens now through March 1st, 2013, Monday -- Friday from 9AM -- 5PM.

You can also print a form from the internet, via www.league-lineup.com (search 75751, fast pitch softball) or find us on Facebook to print a form. If you print a form off the internet, you can drop it off at Kerry Harris Satellite.
