Direct Video Entertainment Names Jason Cohen Senior Vice President Of Sales & Marketing

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- DIRECT VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT(DVE), a National Authorized Dealer of DIRECTV(TM) for Business, and a leading provider of Video and Broadband Equipment and Services to the Hospitality and Commercial market, named Mr. Jason Cohen to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Cohen will be responsible for running the company's operations as well as building a profitable sales model that will support the company's present growth rate. He will also be involved in future expansion plans. Mr. Cohen comes to DVE with 24 years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry on both the product development and sales distribution sides. Additionally, Mr. Cohen has successfully built and managed sales teams in the Satellite TV space for over 20 years. He will report directly to Steve Friedman, President and CEO of DVE.

Prior to joining DVE, Mr. Cohen spent 5 years as VP of Sales for PDI-SAT, a Master Systems Operator for DIRECTV. He was also integral in the expansion of that company; and during his tenure with PDI, he successfully negotiated distribution agreements with several major manufacturers and developed a sales strategy to expand the business in both the Lodging & Institutional and Multi-dwelling Unit (MDU) markets. Before that, Mr. Cohen founded Jayco Ventures, Inc. (JVI) in 1991. He spent the next 16 years building JVI into a $38 million manufacturing and distribution company.
