This March, Global's Entertainment Tonight Canada goes live each Wednesday night with a top-notch roster of Canadian
guests including Academy Award(® )nominee and Bomb Girls star Meg Tilly, award-winning actress and Top Chef host Lisa Ray, Holmes Makes It Right host Mike Holmes and Real Housewives of Vancouver star Jody Claman. Featuring the hottest news of the day, lively
discussions and informal panels with hosts Cheryl Hickey (@CherylHickeyETC), Rick Campanelli (@RCampanelliETC and Roz Weston @RozWeston), each 30-minute show (March 6, 13, 20 and 27) will also include
surprise celebrity guests.
"Our first foray into the live-show format last fall was met with such
excitement and enthusiasm from our fans that we knew we had to do it
again," said Tamara Simoneau, Sr. Executive Producer, ET Canada. "Jam-packed with the latest news, fiery debates, exclusive interviews
with some of our favourite celebs and last-minute surprises, ET Canada Live promises to keep viewers on their toes! And for one lucky fan, it will
be the experience of a lifetime as he or she joins us as a special
correspondent."
Once again, viewers will be able to direct questions to ET Canada hosts and celebrity guests and see their "posts" on the stories of the
day via the social stream with the hashtag #etclive, airing throughout each broadcast. Viewers will also be able to vote on
the best celebrity fashion, most juicy star moments and take part in ET Canada's fun Face Off online polling.
For the first time ever, one viewer - as voted by fans - will be in the
spotlight as a special guest on the final live show. Primped and styled
by ET Canada's glam squad, the pop culture junkie-turned-reporter will have a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from the best entertainment
team in the biz Cheryl Hickey, Rick Campanelli and Roz Weston, and to
rub shoulders with the celebrity guests of the day. Starting March 6,
Canadians can submit their 60-second audition video online; voting on
the selected finalists will begin on March 13. For further information
and contest details, visit etcanada.com.
