The McPherson, Kansas refinery is owned and operated by National Cooperative Refinery Association (NCRA), of which CHS owns approximately 74.5%. The McPherson refinery processes low and medium-sulfur crude oil into gasoline, diesel and other distillates, propane and other products. McPherson sources approximately 95% of its crude oil from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas through NCRA-owned and common carrier pipelines. The McPherson refinery processes approximately 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce refined products that consist of approximately 53% gasoline, 39% diesel and other distillates, and 8% propane and other products.
