Buenos Aires Service Center Launched by C-COM

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

C-COM (News - Alert) Satellite Systems, Inc. recently announced the establishment of its first service center in Argentina. The company is a premier international provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, and has gone on to open out a new service center in collaboration with Telespazio (News - Alert) Argentina S.A, a company based in Buenos Aires.

"Telespazio Argentina is one of the largest resellers of the iNetVu mobile satellite antenna systems in South America with a significant installed base of corporate and government customers,” said Leslie Klein (News - Alert), president and CEO at C-COM Satellite Systems. “The repair center, staffed with experienced, C-COM trained Telespazio Argentina technicians stocked with readily available spare parts, will make it possible to deliver high quality and timely support to customers in Argentina."

This new C-COM authorized service center will operate under Telespazio Argentina and offer local maintenance and support for the C-COM manufactured iNetVu mobile antennas, used by a large number of Argentine customers.

Telespazio Argentina technicians have undergone extensive theoretical and practical training courses that certifies them as professional troubleshooting and maintenance technicians who have the expertise to handle iNetVu mobile antenna systems.

"The establishment of this service center will provide Telespazio Argentina the advantages of being able to offer iNetVu mobile customers in Argentina, with access to a highly trained and experienced bilingual support team capable of delivering 24/7 technical support,” said Paul Recalt, director of Network and Connectivity Business Unit, Telespazio Argentina. “Also by having a local supply of original spare parts equipment downtime will be significantly reduced."

According to Recalt, this certification will further expand the reach of Telespazio Argentina, who will now be able to offer an even higher quality of services to its wide range of mobile customers, including government agencies, oil and gas companies, mining and exploration firms and others located across three million square kilometers who rely on the availability of reliable satellite communications.
