“The FCSA CS2 award reinforces Inmarsat (News - Alert) Government’s strong relationship with U.S. Government SATCOM users. It is a testament to the type of global, highly secure, integrated solutions we have provided to government organizations under our legacy business for over a decade,” said David Helfgott, president and CEO of Inmarsat Government.

Inmarsat Government delivers custom, end-to-end networks and solutions to meet the mission demands of a wide range of U.S. government users. These solutions are platform-agnostic and fully interoperable with existing customer infrastructure and can sustain communications anytime, anywhere.

Federal agencies will work with Segovia, Inc., Inmarsat Government to receive large, end-to-end satellite networks that will include complete and also customized solutions that will meet customers’ unique commercial SATCOM needs.

The Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) initiative is managed jointly by the General Services Administration and the Defense Information Systems Agency (News - Alert) and the CS2 program is the prime provider under the FCSA schedule.

Inmarsat Government is also a prime provider under this schedule and supports federal, state and local governments with direct access to the highest quality commercial telecommunications hardware, software and services.

“We understand the U.S. Government’s growing need for flexibility, resiliency and efficiency worldwide, and are committed to delivering cost-effective, innovative and secure communications to meet those requirements,” added Helfgott.
