NavCom Technology has announced its LAND-PAK Survey System now includes Carlson’s SurvCE data collection software and Carlson Survey 2013 as a software option.
Comprising of full GNSS receiver support, the LAND-PAK system encompasses field, office and GNSS post processing software as well as hardware and accessories. The survey system also includes an online video training library and a three year manufacturer’s warranty.
“LAND-PAK is a turn-key StarFire/RTK survey solution that now offers the choice of Carlson Software for field and office work, “ said Steve Ault, NavCom’s product manager. “This allows our customers the choice to customize their LAND-PAK – to select which software tool works best for them - to get the job done right.”
LAND-PAK also offers a lifetime license for the StarFire global satellite-based augmentation system, which delivers five centimeter horizontal accuracy worldwide and provides required flexibility of a DGPS solution.
With the bundle, users of NavCom GNSS products can conduct their field work and send data seamlessly into Carlson Survey to quickly complete as-built, topo map, subdivision or survey plat deliverables.
“The NavCom LAND-PAK bundle is the first time Carlson has worked with a major manufacturer to bundle not just SurvCE but also Carlson Survey, our office survey solution that is a virtual standard in the U.S. survey industry,” said Bruce Carlson, president of Carlson Software.
Recently, NavCom announced new improvements to their StarFire Global Satellite-Based Augmentation System (GSBAS). The new service StarFire GNSS, not only supports GPS + GLONASS corrections but also provides real-time accuracy of five centimeters anywhere in the world, without a local base station.
