The retail sales market in the U.S. currently sits at an approximate $3.8 billion.

However, it has been estimated that the annual retail loss for the industry is expected to fall into billions as instances of crimes perpetrated by organized crime rings as well as a professional shoplifters and cargo theft are on the rise.
