Track What Matters' New Satellite Tracking Unit for Vehicles in Remote Locations Now Available

Track What Matters, a provider of customized GPS tracking solutions, has announced that its new Satellite Tracking Unit (S2S) is now available for deployment. The company's latest offering has been designed to enable customers track down their trucks and other mobile assets which either travel or are stored in remote locations where the cellular signal strength is either weak or does not exist.
The new Satellite Tracking Unit provides customers with the critical benefit of a longer battery life and comes with a “no maintenance required" shelf life of 7.5 years. Furthermore, the new S2S unit also has been designed with a cloud-based tracking application capable of storing history of location signals for up to one year. The unit also allows customers to monitor when a vehicle or asset moves or comes to a stop.
In a release, Steven Van Ooyen, chief executive officer of Track What Matters, said, “Many of our customers with large fleets, such as the trucking and oil and gas industries, have requested technology that can be used in areas where cellular signals are unavailable or unreliable, and this technology provides a great alternative. Customers will also enjoy the benefits of an increased battery life over the cellular units and the ease by which they can track the assets through our cloud-based application.”
The company's range of GPS tracking solutions are used by customers across the United States, Mexico, Canada, Africa, the Middle East, as well as across select locations in Asia for tracking of vehicles and assets.
