American Roamer Offers Unique Spatial Database to Mobile Operators

American Roamer's robust mapping facilities, which have been recognized by the FCC (News - Alert) as the “industry standard for the presence of service”, has enabled the Geo-spatial company to announce Mobile Broadband Area Analysis, a new analytics package that details mobile broadband coverage data for local and national markets at the census block levels.

The package helps mobile operators to identify areas that are served and unserved by mobile broadband service and determine whether or not specific census blocks are covered by mobile broadband networks.

According to company officials, this in turn has helped them to effectively evaluate programs like Universal Service and the Mobility Fund, a monetary support system that is given to select mobile operator applicants.

American Roamer’s (News - Alert) Mobile Broadband Area Analysis claims to be the largest and most unique spatial database in the world that details geospatial network intelligence. It is now available for purchase in CSV and GIS file formats. These files contain the latest information available in the market. As the data is updated quarterly, the information is stated to be accurate and timely.
