By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor
MyBlueDish.com has announced its latest broadband offering, Exede Satellite Internet Service. Towards the last quarter of 2011, MyBlueDish launched a new satellite, but details were not revealed. The new brand was unveiled by ViaSat at the CES (News - Alert) show in Las Vegas, and they will soon release details on speeds and pricing of different packages.
Previously, residential markets were only offered speeds as high as 1.5 mbps but now speeds of up to 12mbps will be available throughout the United States. Technologies like VoIP, which have been out of reach in rural areas, will be now available with Exede and faster music downloads and streaming video will be within reach as well.
The basic package will still start at $49.99 but the amount of data that can be downloaded/uploaded will vary for the different packages. While up to 7.5 GB of data will be offered in the most basic package, the premier package will offer up to 25 GB.
