DISH Network Expands Channel Lineup

DISH Network Corporation, a provider of direct broadcast satellite (DBS) television products and services to customers nationwide plans to soon add INSP - The Inspiration Network to its lineup of channels.
 
David Cerullo, chairman and CEO of The Inspiration Networks, announced that INSP will be available to DISH Network’s approximately 13.79 million subscribers beginning August 27, on DISH Network Channel 259.
 
“INSP began operations in 1990 and now the network is available in more than 54 million homes across the country,” Cerullo said. “We look forward to serving DISH Network subscribers with our diverse and exciting lineup of quality, inspirational programs.”
 
INSP is a 24 hour-a-day cable television network which currently serves more than 2,000 cable systems across America and worldwide through multiple distribution platforms, including Internet broadband and four satellite and cable TV networks.
 
INSP features original and exclusive music, children's programs and a wide variety of different ministry programming. It offers an array of inspirational programming and features original and exclusive music and talk programs as well as content for kids, teens, women, and men. In addition, INSP offers a wide variety of content from some of the world's leading ministries.
 
The Inspiration Networks also operate "Inspiration Video On Demand," the first inspirational platform for cable television and satellite video on demand (VOD) delivery; and "Inspiration Global," providing broadband video content in the world's major trade languages.
 
DISH Network enables its subscribers to have access to hundreds of video and audio channels, International channels, Interactive TV applications, Latino programming, and the sports and movies in HD. In addition, it offers a variety of package and price options including, the DishDVR Advantage Package, high-speed Internet service, and a free upgrade to the HD DVR.
 
INSP’s launch in DISH Network is aimed at increasing INSP's distribution to more than 54 million households.
