Skymira Enhances TailorFit Solutions

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

Skymira LLC has reportedly enhanced its so called “TailorFit” solutions by combining its electronic forms and telemetry/SCADA services. The TailorFit solution provides technicians with real-time operating status of remotely located equipment under their care while operating in rough terrains.

The company provides remote field solutions for work order automation using its electronic forms service and its telemetry/SCADA service. Each of these services use separate satellite networks. For the new solution, Skymira combined these services and separate satellite network data into a single powerful application. Field technicians can now keep an eye on remotely located units they are responsible for with the TailorFit solution. The new solution will detect early warning signs of failure and also avoid costly machine downtime.

According to Robert Landsfield, CEO of Skymira, LLC, when data from multiple remote information solutions is combined, it produces exponential benefits for Skymira’s clients. Landsfield noted that technicians driving in trucks will be able to check the status of equipment operating hundreds of miles away with the new solution. The tailored solutions essentially deliver the best of both worlds - fast, effective, ready to use solutions and the ability to adapt them to the way a business needs it.

Skymira uses a comprehensive approach to understand each client’s needs and details of how they operate as part of its Tailor-Fit solutions. This assures clients are presented with a complete view of all areas within the business where access to remote information will drive increased returns.

The company’s equipment monitoring solutions provide access to monitoring equipment through satellite or cellular technology so that important information is always available. There is no need for users to be physically present at the site. The Telemetry/SCADA platforms and services provide real-time communications and are designed for long periods of autonomous operation and compatibility with most data loggers and sensors.

Skymira delivers remote information solutions for seamless management of remote operations through a complete set of state-of-the-art satellite and cellular technologies. It combines satellite and cellular communications technologies with its value-added services to provide solutions specific to the customer’s requirements and the way the customer operates.
