MTN Satellite Communications, a global provider of maritime VSAT communications, connectivity and content services, has reportedly expanded its worldwide presence by opening a new global service center in Houston, Texas.
Company officials said that the new Houston global service center will serve as a base for VSAT satellite systems installations and as a global spare parts depot. The facility will also help MTN’s (News - Alert) team of expert certified technicians to respond more quickly to customers’ communication needs with consistent around the clock technical service and support.
“As customers' operations continue to take them into new regions around the globe, they can count on MTN to be their trusted partner for reliable, global VSAT satellite communications. Opening the new global service center in Houston is a testament to this commitment,” Bradford C. Briggs, general manager and senior vice President at MTN Satellite Communications, said in a statement.
According to the company officials, the company’s global infrastructure as on today includes 260 highly trained employees with over 70 field technicians, around the clock multilingual Network Operations Centers, global spare parts depot, and unparalleled customer support. MTN has seven teleports strategically located throughout the world that access twenty-eight different footprints for seamless C- and Ku-Band coverage.
“We remain committed to the reputation that we have earned over the past 20 years in providing expert engineers and technicians who combine rigorous professional skills with outstanding service levels,” Briggs said. “We look forward to providing the same quality of service that our customers expect from us elsewhere.”
Earlier this month, MTN Satellite Communications had announced that it has further expanded its presence in Europe by opening a new sales and engineering support office in Hamburg, Germany.
The new office extends the company’s ability to deliver its industry leading global VSAT satellite communication solutions to commercial shipping and energy customers operating in the region.
